Dr. Frances Engler is a mercury-free, mercury-safe and minimal fluoride, family and cosmetic dentist. Our practice allows us the opportunity to serve others for the glory of God. She and her staff desire to share information about dental wellness with their patients so they may make educated decisions about their oral health. Dr. Engler graduated from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry San Francisco, California in 1982. She received her undergraduate degree in Biological Science at College of the Pacific prior to entering dental. Upon completion of dental school she was accepted to the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine as a General Practice Resident. As a dental resident she received advanced training in hospital dentistry, general anesthesia and the treatment of the medically compromised patient. Upon completion of her residency program Dr. Engler then accepted a position as a staff dentist at El Rio Santa Cruz Neighborhood Health Center in Tucson, Arizona. El Rio is a health center for the underserved low-income population of southern Arizona. Dr. Engler started in dentistry with a desire to do missionary dentistry little did she know that the Lord had the United States as her mission field. Dr. Engler met her husband in Arizona at a Bible Study over twenty-five years ago. They then relocated to Colorado to a start private practice and some years later helped start up a non-profit dental clinic for underserved children on the western slope of Colorado. Through the years of practice Dr. Engler has been a strong advocate of continuing education because it has allowed her to give all families the most modern, state-of-the-art dental care. Dr. Engler has completed extensive hours of continuing dental education. She was awarded Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Engler has participated with the following organizations: Christian Medical and Dental Association (CMDA) Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) International Partner.
