Provided by YP.comAfter calling to confirm they accepted our insurance at the south side office, they had me bring my 4 year old son in to examine his eye after a toy had caused a scratch on his cornea. While Dr. Sichelman and the staff were great with my son, his staff scheduled our follow up appointment on the other side of town from the office we visited him in which is an additional 30 minute drive.
When we arrived at the north side office, we were told they didn't take our insurance, which was never discussed or told to us before, during or after our appointment on Friday. Even though we arrived 15 minutes early to our scheduled appointment, we were told we would need to wait an additional 45 minutes past our scheduled time. We will not be giving them our business in the future because of the poor reception staff's knowledge of normal procedures, such as insurance and the needs of a family with young children.
