Today as I sit trying to get information on disciplinary problems with my grandson, who has had a number of in school and out of school suspensions due to insubordination, endangering of health and safety. My problem is that after meeting with my daughter and school officials, which did not get anywhere, due to the educators already labeling children and I do not see a check and connect plan for intervention and support to head off behavior problems before they happen. They also do not have an effective reinforcing and rewarding procedure, because the teachers are just like the children themselves, hollering at students and cannot control different diversities. My children are just like the rest of the children no different, so to single out one child, from a pack of children doing the same thing is unheard of, but if all parties are to receive the same punishment then I would say that would be fair. I must say I am on the tail end so all of the information I have is incomplete, but after speaking to an official ( will not state who) he has just as bad of a temper as the children under stress, just think about our children meeting him on a bad day. I am disappointed, that a school of that magnitude do not have any teachers who intervene to prevent incidents, and understand that some situations require more thought and not action.
