Great shop, professional, trustworthy people.

Used Hawkeye for the 1st time to service my wife's BMW. They did a great job and were very easy to work with.

Matt, Doug and the team at Hawkeye are top notch. I have looked for a well run, honest auto mechanic for 40 years and finally came across the Hawkeye team. You will always get an honest estimate and time frame. They will do whatever they can to keep your cost down while making sure your vehicle is running in top condition. I will never go anywhere else!!

We took are truck to have an emission test done on Friday morning and it didn't pass. My husband called Hawkeye and they were able to get us in for diagnostics on Friday afternoon. We have an appointment on Monday morning to have the catalytic converter fixed. They are even going to take it to have it re-tested so that we do not have to do that. We will be able to renew our tags before April 30th. What great customer service!

I feel very confident on two levels when I take my car for servicing at Hawkeye. First, I know the work will be done professionally and with exacting standards. They explain everything to me and get the car back to me when promised. Second, they don't try to sell me services I don't need. I appreciate their honesty in this matter. The entire team goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service and timely delivery. My car is always returned to me clean, with the estimate matching or exceeding the actual bill. I appreciate that I have such fine mechanics in the area.

Our family has 4 cars that we get serviced at Hawkeye. The service is always professional. They treat my cars as though the cars are their own. I can trust their recommendations and their work has always been high quality. Its hard to find a good honest mechanic. You can rely on Hawkeye to get the job done.

In today's marketplace, there are too many places attempting to lure customers in with the "low price" and are willing to offer less quality. Our car broke down after hours so we had it towed to Hawkeye and left our keys in the night drop box. They called the next morning to tell us what was wrong and we had the repaired car back by that evening!

Our family has been through 5 automobiles since we first utilized Hawkeye Automotive in 1999. The most recent service provided by Matt, Doug and the Hawkeye team was in March, 2012 due to the failure of the driver (me) to fill my Honda Accord with unleaded gasoline, instead, filling it with diesel fuel. Doug, the service manager at Hawkeye was quite capable of diagnosing the issue on the telephone as my car sputtered out on I-90. Matt did not guarantee there would be no long-term damage but assured us they would do their best to remedy the issue and they did so in a timely fashion-the next day and well below our expectations in terms of a final bill. They have since also followed up on this issue.The team at Hawkeye has carried on the fine tradition of excellent customer service at a fair price, established long ago by owners Vic and Sherri. Been there as couple times and have had great experiences.They even drove me back to the house so I didn't have to wait there for several hours.This place is no joke!

As the title states, it's rare to find a supplier, particulary automotive repair who is competent and trustworthy, let alone fair priced and really good people too.I've been using Hawkeye for over 12 years and they have always been honest, (they'll tell you whether you really need something or can plan for another time), they explain the issues and recommended repair clearly, they do the work correctly the first time, pricing is fair and competitive, and they communicate effectively...they do what they promise. I can't say enough good things about them and have recommended Hawkeye many times. I trust them with my transportation and frankly my hard earned money. Try them; you'll be more than pleased.

Well, I was happy with the repairs performed on my car in addition to some consultation I received regarding my car. Matt was very informative and helpful. Hawkeye automotive is No. 1 for family car repairs. These folks are honest and trust worthy. I take all my cars to them for routine and breakdowns. If a part still has life on it, they tell me, and leave the decision up to me. I had an older model car that was experiencing lots of issues. Instead of taking my money for repairs, they gave me the weekend to think about it and look at used cars. I found a used car and took it to Hawkeye to check it out before finalizing my purchase.
