Lafayette has two authentic Mexican restaurants and this is one of them. It is hard to believe that a town like Lafayette has two, but being my home town I can say that I am extraordinarily proud. This is real Mexican food what you would expect from a taqueria, but with a few more options than the average taqueria. I wish that the Market Square location would have made it, because their lunch buffet was a great way to get people not used to real Mexican food accustomed. This place has everything you would ever want if you have been to real Mexico, not the tourist traps. Despite the small storefront, you should not let appearances keep you from some of the best food this side of the border.
