Recently discovered I have a DVT in my leg which has spread to the lungs. Pretty serious and painful. They tell me at the pharmacy that it will take 1 1/2 hrs to fill. (Why does it take that long to count out 30 tablets?). The woman says to me "You don't have to wait. I will text you when it is ready". I give her my cell phone number and go home. After 2 hrs I have not received a text so I drive there. I find the pharmacy has closed and I am now stuck without any pain relief. I am forced to drive back to the hospital so that I can beg them for some meds to tide me over.



WTF?



Apparently it is their computer system which is supposed to do the texting. You would think that these people would either fix it or stop telling their customers that they will be texted.



I'll never set foot inside another Walgreens.
