The Hacienda La Puente Unified School District enrolls more than 22,000 students in kindergarten through grade 12. It operates more than 30 elementary, middle, high schools and alternative high schools. The school district operates an orthopedic unit for children with physical disabilities. It also offers child development and adult education programs through its schools. The school district maintains a library, curriculum laboratory, and administration, instructional services and multilingual assessment centers. It offers English language development, counseling, school improvement, gifted and talented and compensatory education programs in its schools.
