Sarah Horman, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician who specializes in caring for hospitalized patients. As a hospitalist, Dr. Horman is assigned to patients at the time of admission and provides care only during their hospital stay. She does not see patients at outpatient clinics and is not available for appointments. Upon a patients discharge, Dr. Horman communicates with their regular physician to ensure quality care. As an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine, she instructs medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Horman completed her residency in internal medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine and earned her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, College of Medicine. She is board-certified in internal medicine. She is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine.
