History Established in 2001 Originally, "La Jolla Soo Bahk Do" Matt Becker partnered and began teaching full time martial arts programs to children and adults. In 2008, Becker became licensed by the World Famous Gracie Academy®Shortly after a newly remodeled training area and mat was custom built by Member Jason Khoury.   Home to Gracie Seminar's . . . Ralek Gracie's Seminar was experienced by a full house on August 1st 2010.. Participants experienced the teaching of 100% Pure Gracie Jiu-Jitsu as taught by Ralek's Grandfather, Master Helio Gracie.  In the 4-hour seminar Ralek focused on teaching the techniques that were most instrumental in his recent victory over Kazushi Sakuraba, aka "The Gracie Hunter".  Projecting the MMA fight onto the back wall of the Academy, Ralek and seminar participants watched the MMA fight as Ralek commentated.  He explained his beautifully executed techniques and fight philosophy that has been essential in his successes and the legendary success of the Gracie Family. Meet the Business Owner: Matthew B. Professor M. Becker is a full time professional martial arts instructor and business owner. He holds a fourth degree black belt in Korean Karate, and is actively a Professor of Gracie Jujitsu®.  Also, Certified in Chinese Boxing with additional training in Aikido, American Kempo Karate and Tai Chi.  His training philosophy is focused on 100% Pure Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.
