Provided by YP.comNever will I ever go back! My daughter was invited to a birthday party here. This was her first time skating and they didn't offer us training skates, I was told by the staff that they did not have any. It was very difficult trying to teach my daughter how to skate since I am pregnant. There were way to many people there that you could bairly move around. She kept getting knocked down by other kids. Finally my husband arrived and took her out to the middle of the floor since there were no kids there and was getting her used to the skates. Then one of the bouncers came and told him she couldn't be there, that she must stay on the wall. The wall has no padding and is concrete. So needless to say we left.
Prior to the final straw, we witnessed a kid BRAKE his ankle. They let way too many people on the floor and a group got up close to this kid and knocked him down bringing down a few other kids in the process. He had to be carried off the floor. As we were leaving we passed the family. They were trying to get the rented skates off him to take him to the ER. The staff made no effort to help them.
HORRIBLE PLACE!!

Provided by YP.comI have been growing up at Skatetown since i was two years old, and i thank my parents everyday for introducing me to skating. My dad also grew up there, so by me going we have a common interest that helps us get along better. Many skating rinks claim they are family orriented but the people of Skatetown prove it every time the doors open. On the weekends they offer day sessions, Saturdays 12pm-4pm and Sundays 1pm-5pm. These sessions revolve around the idea of parents bonding with thier children, with thier clean music, and joyfull games its the perfect family activity! Now the night sessions on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday are more of the "teen scene". Tuesday sessions are from 7:30pm-10pm, and for only two dollars to get in the door, you can imagine the croud! Fridays are another story, they're from 7:30pm-11pm, suprisingly friday sessions aren't that popular, which makes them the perfect night to introduce your twelve or thirteen year old child to the "teen scene". Saturday night sessions are the late skates, 7:30pm-1am and are probably the most exciting night of the week for a Skatetown regular. Full of games, races, and jamskates, saturday nights are the perfect teen outing. Fortuanately you don't have to take my word to heart, you can visit skatetown during any of our sessions to see for yourself how we at Skatetown roll.
