Do no recommend this hospital. They tried to make a test they knew I didn't need just to make money. Thanks God I refused it. A month later I received a bill for $800.00 after they charged $ 7,000 to my Insurance. Just for a blood test, and see the doctor for 2 minutes. People in Poinciana usually go to that hospital because it's the closer one and the only hospital in this area. So they take advantage of that. Next time I rather drive a little bit more and go to FL hospital. My advice for you is if you have Insurance don't go to that hospital. And if you don't have it will be even worse. You may have to go bankrupt because you will not be able to paid them....

Majority of employees played around and talk in hallway for the 2 hours my wife waited finally I interrupted their fun time to explain she was in pain and that she already reported her pain 2 1/2 hours now

Wouldn't recommend services here. The head nurse is rude along with a few nurses and the service is horrible. This place looks more like profit moneymaker than about care. They should really look into the employees background and performance.

My father was hospitalized for one entire week. I was so upset with the care given except for three nurses Jennifer, Sonia and Gladys. If it wasn't for them I would've spoken with management. Next time I would go back to Osceola Hospital.

Keep in mind , this is a for profit hospital and they squeeze every penny from insurance companies and patients.I had a heart cath and spent one night in this place. I have medicare, a medigap policy with AARP and part d medical insurance.I also have serious heart problems and have had this procedure done in other hospitals with the total cost covered by my insurance.Medicare was billed $45,803.32 for this one night stay. They and AARP paid $45,720.98 and these greedy &*%%$ billed me $82.34.I am 83 and we survive on SS plus a small amount from an IRA.I had never had to pay before so I held back payment and was put in for collection.This branch of Hospital Corporation of America is not senior friendly and will pick the meat off your bones.Given a choice I would not spend time here again but 911 delivers you to their door.

I brought my neice in and the nurses in the front were nice and considerate. P.A. Johan was AMAZING with her and showed true concern for his patients.

The first time I went here was awful. The people were joking around. Kept forgetting who was in what bed, and were just rude. I told myself

I would never go there again. However, this week I had an abscess that just kept growing and got so bad I couldn't move my arm. I went in and everyone was so great. They were all so friendly, and explained everything and didn't get annoyed with me asking questions. I explained I was going on vacation in 3 days and wouldn't be able to get to my primary doctor so they told me to come back and they would take care of me. I went back 2 days later and once again, they were so nice and friendly and willing to listen to me. I think the first time I went there I just got unlucky with a horrible staff. I would go back there for sure based on my last two visits! Also, there was hardly no wait at all any of the times I went.

My mother-in-law was rushed to this hospital when she passed out. The staff was really rude, the only person that was nice was the security guard was the only nice person there. They kept taking by her blood because got lost twice. The room she was put into was unclean with flies everywhere. The nursing staff was very unprofessional. Thank God the problem was with her heart,so they had to transfer her to Osceola. I will never go back to that hospital again if I have the choice. Like I said, very disappointing.

I don't even know where to begin...this was my first and last experience with this place...when I first got there everything seems to be going good they took my vitals and put me in a room pretty fast but once I got into the room and emt came in to draw some blood he didn't know what he was doing because he was so focused on trying to tell me how lazy the night staff was and poked me multiple times with a needle he left me three of the biggest bruises I've ever had...then he drop the needle on the floor and just left it there...mind you it was a bloody needle so there is now blood on the floor...when the RN came in he picked the needle up off the floor with no gloves and dispose of the needle in a regular trash can...once a doctor came in he saw me for maybe about 2 minutes and I didn't see him again until it's time for me to leave...long story short it was just the worst most unsanitary hospital I have ever been to and I do not recommend it to anybody...p.s no one had ever came to clean up the blood off the floor from the needle

I don't understand all these bad reviews. I tool my four year old there the other day for a broken wrist. The staff were all amazing, kind, and explained things nit only to me but also to my son. They let him tell how he got hurt and listened. At this point I wouldn't take him anywhere else.

Based on my recent experience, I would NEVER bring my mother here again. In my opinion, the ER doctor and Hospitalists do not know what they are doing. There were a few great RNs, but the Hospitalists were horrible at answering questions, and discussing plan of care. They did not make themselves available even when asked. Drive by and go to Celebration hospital, instead.

They overprice your bill by thousands and take forever to attend a patient. They do not remove or show any type of care to the patient nor the family. It is a scandal!

HORRIBLE service. My mother was admitted on Monday march 24 2014 because she kept vomiting, and the service was extremely bad. They had her under pain medication that made her dizzy, so when she asked to use the bathroom the nurse needed to bring her a wheel chair, my mom waited 1hr and 40 mins for the wheel chair and keep in mind they were not busy at all. afterwards they discharged her and when she was leaving the room with me and my dad she threw up and all they did was send her home with a gray bucket saying she had the stomach bug that was going around. Since she kept vomiting and the medicine they gave her wasn't working, I took her to Celebration, where she was admitted and found that she had kidney stones. Thank goodness for Celebration because poinciana med didn't even run tests on her. I was so furious. I am definitely going to take further action.

This hospital is brand new and I went there because my daughter hasnt peed for 12 hours I waited there for 2 hours in a half I just left. i went to osceola hospital I just waited 15 min and they quickly called her I do not.recomen.this hospital.someone can be dying and they wont even care!!!!! Btw theres a black lady who takes the patients info she is rude as heck!!! Forgot her name if.no I wouldve blasted her out
