Horrible place! Charge way too much when the students don't know how to even do hair. Ridiculous!! Walked out very disappointed and upset. Never go here to get ur hair done. Their complete garbage. I feel bad for those students!! Cuz their "instructors" only care about making money and not satisfying the customers

This school is a joke they take your money and don't teach you anything Hands on. I graduated two years ago and can't find a job with the lil they showed me they didn't even provide me with a color class at the end

I wish I could give this place a 0 star rating!! Absolutely a waste of time and money! Very "ghetto" by the way.

The best thing about this school is graduation day so you can get the hell out of there and begin to really learn about the industry. The teachers are nice but lack experience, as most of them are graduates from that school. The owner is so disinvolved with the needs of her students and teachers, her only concern is filling her pockets with everyones money. There are not enough teachers on the floor so it is not suprising that a lot of clients walk out of there unhappy, The time I spent there felt like a waist, I learned more watching Youtube videos and studying all on my own. Dont get me started on how bad they screwed with my financial aid....All in all I do not recommend this place neither for students nor clients...

When i went for the first time my hair was three colors different, i did not know what to do with it. When i got there the receptionist gave a great smile and told me dont worry here we have a great teachers that can help you! Guess what I meet the best teacher Ms. Ginger who look at me in tears and said let we what we can do. Thanks got i got back my confinent and now i feel like a millon woman, like a PUERTORICAN DIVA, im happy again and since i start with them. Since that day i still going and never being dissapointed. Except a teacher that has a temper not to nice sometimes,,, they know who is it. Anyway thats to the great students that always treat me with respect and care,,, i love you guys,, i feel BEAUTIFULL AND I RECOMENDED THIS WONDERFUL ACADEMY CAREER.

I'm a student here and I really like it. So far I have only had Ms. Shirley's class and she's a great teacher. She's very patient and is always very encouraging and positive. I can't say that I know much about the services the students offer since I'm not on the floor just yet, but the students that are doing hair and massages are ALWAYS busy so they must be doing a good job.

I graduated from Academy of Career Training 3 years ago. I was so surprised when I got my first job working at the salon in the Florida Mall. The salon hired on 3 fresh students from different Cosmetology schools. Of the 3 students I was the only one who knew how to cut and foil to their satisfaction. I was really proud of my education when I compared my skills to others. I currently have a great client base and I have created the career I desire. I am so grateful for ACT for everything they have taught me.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND SOMEBODY TO THIS PLACE. IS CHEAP, YEAH BECAUSE ALL SERVICES ARE PERFORMED BY STUDENTS BUT STUDENTS HERE HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT THEY'RE DOING. THEY ARE VERY WRONGLY INSTRUCTED. I ENDED UP LEAVING WITH A REALLY BAD HAIRCUT THAT I COULDNT EVEN FIX BECAUSE IT WAS TOO SHORT! I WAS RECOMMENDED BY A FRIEND (AND CONSIDERED IT BECAUSE OF THE PRICE, I THOUGHT IT WAS CHEAP) BUT I WOULD NEVER RETURN, ITS A MESS OF A PLACE!

obviously you are eithe an employee or a student at this place. I was a student algo and had to withdraw after 3 months. this place is the worst ever!!

I went to the academy as a recommendation from a friend, I have to say the thought made me very nervous never having my hair done at a beauty school. The expierence was awesome from the minute I walked in. I was greeted with a smile by the receptionest, I wanted to change my color so the floor manager was called up for a consultation. The students colored ,cut and blowdryed my hair under the instruction of the teachers. I have to say my hair never looked better and I left there feeling like a million bucks. I will definatley be returnung there and will recommend them to all my friends.THIMBS UP TO THE ACADEMY OF CAREER TRAINING

I went to the Academy Career training (ACT) in Kissimmee to get my haircut and colored. I would like to extend my heaetfelt thanks to the staff and students for doing an outstanding job. The students were up beat,the staff where perfessional and listen to what I wanted and made suggestions that would best suit me.

I would highly recommend my family and friends to go to the school and to try out the vary of services they offer. Thank you again, Great Job!

Obviously this "In Shock" person has no idea that this is a SCHOOL, where students work on clients that volunteer to have their hair done. I have been there a few times and had FANTASIC service and not put EXPCTATIONS on students to be professional yet because they are scared and nervous. If you go to a school and expect anything else then take your behind to a place where people are just as rude and snotty as you are. Schools don't need people like you there anyway

Had a great time here. I got my color cut and style for just over $30 but the students made me feel like a million bucks. ginger, one of the teachers was funny and knew her stuff. I will be going back.

Never get your hair done at this place. They are completely unprofessional and their students and instructors have no customer service skills. Your dog will be treated better at a groomer than at this place. Worst mistake I ever made! I went here on a recommendation from a young lady I knew from a previous job who used to work there, not cause it was less money. My hair was not finished because it was time for their student to go home. My money was not refunded and they never once apologized. The instructor acted like they were doing my hair for free. I had to find an open salon at 6pm on a saturday to finish my hair and pay more money. I cannot remember the last time I have ever felt so humiliated and upset. They left my hair drenched and tangled cause they needed to go home. I had paid for my services ahead of time. I was left with black dye and my clothes got ruined. I called the director Liz to complain and she never returned my call. I called her back and she basically said she di

Funny thing is all her students and instructors were there as witnesses. Ive never received such bad service and disregard for anyone. Please do not make the mistake I made and go here. Stay with your professional hair dresser. This school needs to teach their students more than how to do hair. How are they going to be successful in the real world with no people skills? BIG MISTAKE!
