Worst customer service ever!!!!! Never but any jewelry from them. We came in looking for a nice engagement ring. After finally finding one, the sales person told us it was Simon g and found a 1.5 carat stone to match. What they forgot to tell us is that the stone is EGL international who are now being sued because they were selling diamonds which are not graded how they should be. We called the store to explain the situation and ended up taking to an employee who pretend to be a manager and told us to come in bring papers from another jewelery store rating GIA diamonds and they would price match and fix the problem. We made an appointment,came in and the manager wasn't even there.... and to top it all off, we were told the person we talked to on the phone is not even a manager she's a secretary. We flew down specifically to discuss the exchange of the ring. We brought papers with GIA rated diamonds around the same size. Now they are telling us that we can exchange the ring but we have to pay double the price for the stone which has LOWER grading than the one we tried to match. The people at the store were rude and kept saying that there's nothing they can do. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORST JEWELRY STORE.... NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE! !!!!!

Please be very aware of the return policy at this store. They do not make it very well known. You sign your credit card slip and then they staple that to a piece of paper that says store credit only. They didn't make that apparent while showing me the necklace or while signing the credit card slip. Anything you buy here is exchange/store credit only. While I can understand them possibly charging a restocking type fee to recuperate their credit card processing fee, I do not feel it is a fair policy to only give store credit. I expressed my concerns that it is not properly mentioned during the purchase process and they of course disagreed. They do have a frame with the policy but it is only posted on one wall and it is not something most would look at. It happened to be on the opposite wall of my purchase. I even expressed the that sales woman said she would work with me if my wife didn't like it. I guess that is as clear as they get for no exchange. Work with me means if I need to return it I can get my money back. I feel they could have made this situation right if they wanted to. It is the last purchase I will be making there. They have ruined my day and are now holding my money hostage for another piece of jewelry which at this point I don't want. My wife didn't like the piece I picked out and now I get to suffer the consequences.





Aside from my poor recent experience, I have had another previous poor experience. Be careful if you ever have them make a custom piece of jewelry. We submitted our request well within their suggested window to meet our wedding date. They assured us the piece would be amazing. The first attempt was not what we wanted and barely made its arrival the week before our wedding. I had to chase them down for updates the whole way. They would say they would call and would not. They did make the situation right by eventually getting us the wedding band we were hoping for but it finally arrived 4-6 months after our wedding date. The final band was exceptional, so I guess if you don't mind a huge hassle and a long timeline they may work for you.





Our first experience was great for the purchase of my wife's engagement ring. They took great care of us, which brought us back for the wedding band. They really do have some really nice rings. I wish I had decided to buy something similar somewhere else. It might have saved me some time and money.

I am a new customer to Milanj ...

I am a new customer to Milanj Diamonds. I would just like to say that when looking for an engagement ring or any type of jewelry this is the place to go. Mr Milanj and Gerry made it very easy and comfortable on picking out the right engagement ring in my price range. I will be defiantly heading back there for my future jewelry purchases.

Great job! – My husband and I were so happy with our experience at Milanj. Gerry helped us with picking out a beautiful Tacori necklace. They even offered to gift wrap it for us. Thought that was so sweet!

I am a new customer to Milanj. Quite honestly I was a little hesistant to give them my business after reading some of these reviews. Our experience was fantastic. My wife has purchased two bracelets at Milanj and the service I received was wonderful. Orin was the best! The staff is knowledgeable about all their lines, which also helped me become knowledgeable. Again, I just want to give them a shout out...they are the best. The whole staff is great!

We spent a considerable amount of time shopping around for the “right” ring. Quite honestly we just wanted it to look like the one my wife found online, However, we didn’t want to pay that price. Joe was so understanding and had our specific ring hand made. He even had an idea to incorporate a diamond I already got for her years ago into the band. We are so happy, thanks again Joe and MIlanj!

Stay away ! This company is not honest. The gold color on my wedding ring wore off to show white metal. The owner told me that's normal. Do yourself a favor and spend your money with a reputable jeweler.

As such, and with most of our white gold rings being 18 karat, that means your ring is 75% pure yellow gold, with the remaining parts, principally, being palladium, a platinum family metal. Palladium is used for strength, as well as for its extraordinarily white color. Your ring, as with almost all white gold rings, is then refinished with what is called "rhodium", another platinum family metal, for your ring to be mirror-like. Over time, based upon the wearer's diet, heredity, natural oxidation and trips to the shore, the "rhodium" can wear away, leaving a "warmth" that is other than how the ring looked originally. Horrible customer service

This place us awful, and I will never be shopping here again. My husband got me a beautiful citrune ring for Christmas 3 months ago for me to remember my father by (he died in 5/2012 when I was 8 months pregnant). Well, the stone fell out over the weekend, so we went in to the store yesterday. The very bitchy and unprofessional so-called manager tried to blame it in me for a bent setting, which I am sure I would have recalled if my ring caught on something. Now I am being told that their warrantee doesn't cover a replacement, when I was told that my ring has a lifetime guarantee and to bring it back if anything ever happens. I was never given a copy of what their warrantee entails, so I don't know how they can enforce it when they don't provide a copy of said warrantee to their customers. She had just told us it was like buying tires, which was very rude and unprofessional. I have never bought tires. Then I was told I should have had insurance, when I was never educated about insurance either. Now they currently have what is left of my ring. I expect it to be replaced as it was not my fault it came apart, and I would hope they would want to do right by their customers. If not, we will be contacting local agencies to report them for their unprofessional conduct and misrepresentation to the consumer.

STAY AWAY!!! MILANJ DIAMONDS ENGAGES IN DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! My girlfriend and I were looking (and I stress, we were only LOOKING) at engagement rings at Milanj. The salesperson was incredibly pushy and, at times, downright rude. Despite being told that we absolutely were not going to make a purchase on the spot, he insisted that we at least consider our options. He basically kept trying to "work a deal." The salesperson insisted that I should at least see what kind of financing I might qualify for in the event that I may make a future purchase. This seemed reasonable to me, so I authorized what I thought was only a "soft" inquiry into my credit history. I asked the salesperson MULTIPLE times to clarify what exactly he would be doing when he said he was going to "run some numbers." He stated that he was NOT processing an application for a retail line of credit and that he was only determining if I would qualify for financing. Fast forward to a few weeks after our visit to Milanj, and now I have received a Milanj credit card in the mail, issued by Wells Fargo, with a retail line of credit with a $6,200 limit! I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS!!! MILANJ DIAMONDS OPENED THIS LINE OF CREDIT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION!!! I immediately called and closed the account, but the damage has been done. The "hard" inquiry into my credit history has cost me points off my credit score. The closing of the account has cost me points off my credit score. My girlfriend and I are at a point in our lives where we are ready for marriage and settling into a home. Every point that has come off my credit score will be held against me when it comes time to apply for a mortgage loan. Milanj Diamonds has, effectively, hurt me financially for YEARS to come. And when I called to speak to the manager, he was dismissive and rude, claiming that "his people would never do such a thing." He, in essence, called me a liar! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH MILANJ DIAMONDS. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND ONLY CARE ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY!!! I have honestly never been more disgusted with a place of business in all my life.

What an experience! After read...

What an experience! After reading a few of the negative comments we were a bit hesitant as to what would happen at Milanj. I have to honestly say we were so pleasantly surprised and happy we chose to go there. The staff was extremely nice and Ellie is just Amazing! We will def send our friends and family there to see her! Thank you so much Milanj!

I recently purchased an engagement ring at Milanj Diamonds. To say that the diamond and setting are stunning would be an absolute understatement. My fiance is in love with the ring, and I can't believe the price I paid for all that I received. To be honest, the only reason I did not give this jeweler a rating of 5 is that the sales experience was a bit more intense than I preferred at times....that said, it was not unmanageable, and as evidenced by the sale, it didn't affect matters. After all, they are there to sell products!



I would go back in a heartbeat. The sales staff are very knowledgable, the service is beyond great, and the quality of their merchandise is incredible. I felt like I was the only person in the store while I was talking and making my decision.

Roger fed me this story about how he managed all these different jewelry stores and none had the quality of Milanj, and he made the owner out to sound like a god. Very shortly after, I was introduced to the owner who tried to talk me into a ring I was looking at. The problems began when he named a price (about par with everywhere else I looked), and Roger's response was a very theatrical and dramatic "WOW!!! That is incredible. ONLY HERE!" Are you serious? Then, when I tried to tell the owner I needed some time to think and talk to my brother who was helping me shop, the owner tried to make me feel bad for talking to anyone. He told me this should be only between my future fiancee and myself and I ... Theatrics were ridiculous, worse than used car salesman. Our associates have certain liberties as to accomodations on price, with which our principal can go further. Should he, and it allows the client to enjoy something they may not have normally, why not be excited for them. We are jewelers, and as such, have the extraordinary privilege of occasionally sharing in the highlights of one's life. Continuing, our principal is quite committed to his personal belief that an engagement ring should be first viewed by the recipient. We have seen so many times a friend or fellow family member coerce the buyer into something they like, as opposed to the recipient's wishes. An engagement ring is very personal, something that a woman often has thought about what it would look like since being a teenager. Our principal is, as we are, very passionate about this. "Disrespectful", no, we would never, not intentionally, have anyone feel this way. If we did, our apologies. But please know it was not our intention to ever cause someone to feel this way. We strive to have the buyer pick the perfect, most appropriate, ring to ask for a woman's hand and heart.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE. The owner of this store will not stand behind the jewelry his sells. I'm am taking this man to court because he because the diamond was not worth half of what he charged me. They should not even get one star but I had to in order to post comment.
