I just drove 8 hours round trip to look at a boat they had for sale after I was told it runs great and is ready to go, I get there and it wont run, waited around a couple hours and they never could get it started. Wasted my whole day, would not recommend.

DO NOT USE EVER! I would give him 0 stars if possible. If you have an inboard ski boat and need service in Kimberling City, MO, go to Ski Shack 417-882-8480 - Chris is great. I SLIGHTLY damaged my prop on a log that induced a vibration. On the 2nd attempt to fix my prop, Dan (I witnessed this) used a 2x4 to try and remove my prop and then a brass punch to try and remove my prop before he got the wrong size prop puller and then finally (about 2 hrs later) got the right sized prop puller (my boat was located about 5 minutes fro his shop at the hi & dry). In his attempt to remove my prop he destroyed it and I had to replace it with a new one - about $650 after prop and labor to repair it.

I initially contacted him and reported a bad vibration. He finally got to my boat and said he fixed it as it was only a loose nut (try #1). He NEVER water tested it - thus never fixed it. With his incompetent attempt to fix my boat, he basically wasted my whole summer trying to get the prop fixed as I'm not down at Table Rock full time.

I wouldn't trust him to change a spark plug - he's a nice guy, just doesn't know what he's doing. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE and save yourself the time, money and frustration of dealing with a first class incompetent.
