The Big Coppitt Gun Club is my first experience but as a beginner I highly commend the establishment for professionalism, knowledge, and facilitating my understanding and finding the right gun for me for my specific needs. Phil and Jordan " know their stuff" and will custom order so you get the very best. It is a nice little range and is comfortable. A little tight quarters but to be expected on a 2 X 4 mile island. My best friend and I joined the same day and are very pleased with our lifetime membership. Women do not have to feel intimidated. Trust me, I wish I had done this sooner!

The pros on this range is that it's climate controlled but as in any indoor range that is expected and it is clean and stocked with extra targets and a few other shooting supplies if you forget something or run out.



The downside is this range is an absolute ripoff! Typically when you pay a yearly or lifetime membership fee you don't get charged again for per half hour lane use. In fact I've never heard of per half hour lane fees! So if your into blowing over a hundred bucks for two hours of shooting with a friend sharing the same lane (and that doesn't include your cost for ammo and your targets, etc.) then this is a perfect place for you too get robbed at. And unfortunetly they can do it because its the only range in the area...sorry, ill drive up north and shoot more and still spend less money.
