Went for treatment for a shoulder pain. I was told I was getting a steroid injection, but got a shot of lidocaine and a generous helping of staph infection. Surgery, five days in the hospital, and a month on a portable IV the cost of their mistake is around $90,000 and counting. I wish I had never heard of the place. I went for the convenience of a clinic close to home and paid the price. I visited my previous surgeon inside the loop and he diagnosed the pain immediately, and then had to focus on clearing up the infection Orthopedic Specialty gave me. He conducted surgery to clean out my shoulder on an emergency basis to prevent irreparable damage to my shoulder due to the infection. I was on three antibiotics for five days and a portable IV for another month. Caveate Emptor.
