This place is so terrible! I went here with my family because our usual go to place (Tiffanie down the street) had a long wait. We figured we'd give it a try since it is a new place. We ended up spending in excess of $100 and I got a Shellac manicure along with a pedicure. I was kinda skeptical when she pulled out a fake/knock-off brand of shellac-like polish (it was not CND- which is the authentic Shellac brand) but I figured it was worth a try. In just a week, my polish started peeling off and was cracked and chipped. I always get Shellac... and with my nails, Shellac NEVER comes off. It last 4-5 weeks and the only reason I have to physically peel and soak it off is because my nail grows and I get tired of the color. Therefore, I know that REAL shellac wouldn't peel off my nails in less than a week. I had family functions in between so I returned to the salon 8 days later hoping that maybe they had a glitch in the application and would reapply the nail polish for free. I told the guy in the front that my shellac was chipped and cracked and it wasn't even entire 2 weeks yet and he agreed that shellac is supposed to last AT LEAST 2 weeks. As I was getting ready to sit down, two ladies came from the back and started speaking a foreign language while examining my nails and I felt really embarrassed and awkward while they exchanged expressions along with their foreign language while standing in front of me and examining my nails. They told me that they would charge $15 to redo my nails and after I told them that's absurd because it's obviously their fault for not applying the Shellac properly, they refused to believe that I had my nails done there just a week ago! They said with the amount of growth my nails has shown, that I must have gotten it done more than 2 weeks ago and because my nails were grown "too much" they can't redo it! They called me a liar!! I told them that I came with my family and spend over a $100 (pre tip) at the salon and my family loves to get pampered on weekly basis so they'd be losing quite a bit of business if they treated me poorly and the lady started shouting at me! She then had the audacity to say that I should've come earlier (as if I have no other job/duties at all!). Frustrated, I simply asked her politely to answer "yes or no" to whether she would redo my nails for free or I would go to the Tiffanie salon down the street. She screamed that she didn't care and told me to get out of her salon! Needless to say, you couldn't pay me to go back to this place! Plus, Tiffanie is a lot cheaper as well. You don't have to take my word for it, just go to this cheap place and ask to see what colors they have for Shellac and they will pull out the knock off white plastic bottles. Additionally, it is illegal to sell services under the certified trademark Shellac (by CND) when they aren't using Shellac products... Stay away or get rude and disappointing service..

Our 'Go To' Mexican Restaurant

When we're in a hurry or when we want to take friends out without spending too much money, this is where we go. The service is good and fast. The food is excellent. The tablecloths are a bit intimidating but one can deal with them. LOL!
