incompetent director of golf

Spends to much on compurt looking up reviews instead of doing his job running a golf course. My daughters wedding was an abortion. No one knows what's going on. Staff is a bunch of cart boys and one pro. Nobody gives a hoot. Pace of play is slow motion no marshalls starter doesn't have a prayer getting people off on time. 65.00 green fees little steep I'd say much better place to play.

The worst wedding venue ever!

I was married here june12,2009. The ceiling was leaking and there big white buckets put in place to catch the water. The self proclaimed "owner", refused to let 1/2 of my guest into the facility . He claimed they were breaking dress code policy. Although he let in several others with jeans, boots, tank tops, and flip flops in. He even allowed a woman with a DOG into my wedding. HIllcrest allowed golfers to continue golfing during my ceremony and golfers walked infront of a set of bridesmaids and groomsmen during their walk down the isle. These golfers then watch and talked through my wedding on the sidelines. "THe Owner" yelled and cussed at me when I asked to speak to him about the situation. He then proceeded to walk through my reception and kick people at random. My father-in-law was asked to leave, and he was in a suit. Hillcrest claims the wedding was a disaster because I failed to include the dress code with the invitation, but i wa never mailed a copy of the contract and only members of the country club are allowed to view the rules and policies on the website. I had a verbal contract with the wedding coordinator that the dress code was enforced for guest of the country club only the members. She stated this to the entire wedding party during the rehearsal on June 11, 2009. I have photos of all i complain about. "the owner" kicked out tow of my photographers and pulled out a billy club on one of the groomsmen in the parking lot. There was armed security patrolling through the venue and reception. I was not offered all accommodations that I paid for and was shut out of one of the banquet rooms I paid for so the venue could set up for an event happening the next day. I was introduced as the new bride with tears streaming down my face. The staff complained to my guest about the owners behavior. The wedding coordinator spent more time on the phone than coordinating anything. It was horrible.
