Eastgate Middle School is a part of North Kansas City Schools. It serves more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It offers a wide curriculum of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. The school also offers classes in communications arts, music, arts and crafts, speech, drama and modern language. Its sports activities include volleyball, cross country and basketball. Additionally, the school conducts a variety of cultural and educational programs, such as debates, sports competitions, band, choir concerts and musical festivals. The programs offered include early release, excellence assemblies, recorder might and grades go home. Eastgate Middle School was established in 1958 and is located in Kansas City, Mo.
