I received flowers from this florist and there were two issues: (1) they left them with my neighbors and didn't bother to put the card containing a private message in an envelope secured only for the recipient to see. When the sender of the flowers called to complain about this, they actually tried to justify this as their usual way of doing business. I was very upset that my private personal message had been broadcast to my neighbors by this florists unprofessional practice. Furthermore, they did not bother to contact me to ask if it was even okay to leave the flowers with the neighbors, with whom, I would have preferred they not. (2). The flowers were the cheapest arrangement I have ever seen. They were 90 percent carnations and 10 percent daisies. And greenery. I didn't have the heart to tell the sender how ripped off he got. He is not a cheap guy and even the cheapest arrangement out there calls for more than penny a piece cheap carnations. The colors were terrible too. Pink and red carnations at that with white and yellow daisies. Absolutely disappointing. Busse and Rieck should be embarrassed. Oh- and the vase was cheap too it looked like something you would find at a garage sale. Just awful. Choose anyone but this florist. Unprofessional practice and a rip off.

While my wedding was a few years ago, I can not say enough nice things about the flowers and service that I received at Busse's. I had some definite ideas about what I wanted and they accomodated me, helping me find the best bang for my buck as my wedding was right after Christmas which limits the availability of flowers (due to the season). I have recommeded Busse & Rieck to many of my coworkers and would recommend it to you too. They catered to me with the prices that we agreed upon with no last minute substitutions, a willingness to answer my many calls, and most importantly, on time delivery!
