My friend who is just 18 and all by herself is stuck in Joplin Missouri and has been there since midnight and its 10 in the morning. she found out this morning they should have been put up in a Motel free of charge because the bus she was on had tire issues apparently she was told the man who works there is new . That in my book is no excuse when anyone who starts a job like that should know their policies or call your supervisor!!!There is a McDonalds 2 blocks away but she is afraid to walk by herself. So she has been sleeping on the floor ,eating out of vending machines and hoping to get on the 11 o clock bus. What a joke is this how a large bus company such as Greyhound treats there customers!! It sounds like they need to revamp themselves and realize these are human beings and they are paying there salary by riding there buses !! And by the way I tried calling the station and they would not answer but it doesn't really surprise me.

Why won't anyone answer the phones anymore? too busy? I have tried to call THREE Greyhound Package Express locations (Joplin, Springfield and Chicago) and NONE of them answer the phone!! If you are considering calling these people and happen to read my review..Don't waste your time!
