Dr. Hitt is the absolute best! Caring and knowledgeable, he goes above and beyond to find any answers needed to help your pet. He also does many things to help people and their pets who are in need. He doesn’t take appointments so as a walk-in, you may have to wait, but it is worth it tenfold. We love Dr. Hitt.

I have several dogs and I breed Siamese and I bring all my pets to Dr. Hitt. He has helped us through everything from kittens with a tummy ache to a life saving C-section and always worked with us when it comes to paying for the expensive stuff (ie the C-section) I have family in Plainfield but live in Dubuque, IA and I still bring my pets to Dr. Hitt. He does all my well kitten checks, rabies shots, any non emergency illness and I always call him if I do have an emergency even if I am already at the vet. I'll take his word over the phone over another vet actually looking at my pet any day. I also love the walk-in clinic with Sunday hours. Perfect for a kitten check when I come here to visit family. Thank you Dr. Hitt!

This place sucks. It's my moms vet. I've been 3 times cause of are sick cats. This place sucks. Now I know my cat could not be saved cause of kidney failure but the way how he was treated when we brought him in. Doctor just grabbed my dying cat by the neck out if carrier. I could have brought him out in a better way. I watched how other pets were treated nd I was very much unimpressed I can't believe he's lasted this long. My new kittens I'm taking somewhere else.

Dr. Hitt is a caring vet and we have been using his services for years. His office staff is not always the best, but his care makes up for it.

After years of going to this vet, we will be looking for a new one. The service at this clinic has deteriorated to the point that the personnel are insulting and rude. The quality of care is poor as well. I would not recommend this clinic.

Very disappointed in the service with this animal hospital !!! Doctor never returns phone calls . we called to make an emergency appointment for our pit and was told they were booked . then we brought him in for a for him to check out an issue we had he told us it was a simple lining problem and it could be fixed with a simple surgery we brought him in for surgery and to be neutered he got neutered and then we were told the so called lining problem was a basketball size tumor that was cancer and he could not do anything however a simple blood test would have detected cancer what doctor give false information then does not charge us for neutered but over charges to put him to sleep the blood work up so now we have an outrageous bill and also a cremation bill and a broken heart of a lossed dog which could have been prevented .......DO NOT GO HERE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND SNOTTY PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to this animal hospital for years and the caring staff and Dr. Hitt are absolutely the best!! I travel from Romeoville, and they are worth it.



They actually care about your pet, having lived here for almost 20 years, I have yet to find any vet that surpasses not only the Customer Service for humans but the overwhelming attention to my dog. Patience and love is found here.
