My first visit with Dr. Helmer I learned that there is a wonder drug for gout, called colchicine. I had suffered for 20 years with the affliction and every doctor I saw said they could not help me because my uric acid levels were normal. Since I have been on colchicine, I have had NO gout attacks! I also saw the doctor for plantar fasciitis, which was relieved by minor surgery. Dr. Helmer is a great diagnostician and good conversationalist. If you need great podiatric care, see Dr. Helmer
