This father son duo is a great partnership. My car has been worked on there many times, they are great people who give fair prices and do quality work.

My 2000 Dodge van was repaired there today, and they did a super job. I thot my fan switch would have to be replaced, like in my older Dodge vans, but Rich knew right away that it was the resistor. Later, he showed me a pic of what that looks like. I thot maybe I needed a universal joint, but it was the front wheel bearings. I have known Rich over 20 years and he has never tried to fix more than the vehicle needed. He is fair and honest, and goes out of his way to help you. I recommend AUTO MEDICS of Joliet, without hesitation.

I went to a place recommended when I bought the car but was not convienent to where I live-only near my work.Not only did KG AUTO WERKS of Westmont know exactly what I needed when the Saab guru looked at it.. he had contacts to order it.. no asking ME where to get them! They arrived in 2 days later and guess what? This awesome place PICKED UP MY CAR.. at work.. and delivered it back to me-I did not even need to take off work.. That was above and beyond but my point is THIS.. if you CLAIM to work on a Saab .. you MUST know where to order the parts. I'm sorry but that indicator is a fact.. this shop does not work on them at all or often.. sorry. They may do a fabulous job on other vehicles but I would not recommend them for any Saab owner.. Just because the owners wife has a Mercedes (FYI ..was told 3 times) does not mean they can fix my Saab...

Hands down best place to take in your car! These guys are awesome! Extremely great prices! Very fair and will NOT try to rip you off. They do the work very quickly and make sure its done right! These guys took care of me! They are very friendly and funny guys! Highly recommended!I will be sure to send my friends and family over!

Had my car to 3 different shops and spent over 600 dollars on various parts. Took it here and within an hour they told me my problem and it would be 250 dollars to fix. Skeptically I said yes and it fixed my problem!! Never going to another shop but Auto Medics. Thanks guys!

I bought a used Saab a year ago and recently had an issue... I came across a coupon in the Clipper magazine for Auto Medic of Joliet. It touted that it specialized in European cars and had a nice row of 'Designer cars' across the coupon-including a picture of the Saab symbol and mentioned in they deal with all after factory warranties.The person who assisted me stated they do work on Saabs and after showing him the problem he then asked ME where the nearest Saab dealership was to call about parts! I knew immediately this place would not be touching my car.Not very friendly or professional-if you work on high end vehicles and own a $30,000 machine to do so (per him) and have a SAAB symbol on your ad.. then ya THINK you should know the nearest place to order parts? Needless to say I went with an original recommendation a bit further out but one who knows Saabs inside and out. This place may be a fabulous place for other vehicles but NOT recommended if you own a Saab.
