The Jersey City Ballroom is more than a studio, it's a place to become a dancer. The founders of the ballroom, a husband and wife team, have over twenty years of experience dancing, performing, and competing. They are driven to share their passion for dancing with as many people as possible, and use it as a way to bring people together. Whether you're a first-timer or you've been twirling around your whole life, when you step in to see our high ceilings, dark hardwood floors, and chandeliers, inspiration to dance simply flows. You'll always feel supported to attain your dancing goals, because we do not simply offer dance lessons, but a community of people who share the love of dance. Through positive energy and friendliness, we are constantly pushing one another to be their best, because we know they can. Not to mention, the instructors that will be teaching you are extremely experienced and active in the dance community. They love to share their expertise with others - but they're so talented you might want to sit back and watch sometimes! Our track lighting and excellent sound system amplifies all performances to be an unforgettable experience for the dancers and viewers alike. More into freestyle? We also have parties! At these events all members of the community join to meet one another and dance socially.
