I've never had any kind of bad experience with River Region. They've always been really nice and courteous. Wish they'd open a business closer to where I live now since we moved.

Have always had a great experience with River Region Credit Union. Just financed my fourth auto loan through them and their rates are competitive.

They charge $1.50 per ATM transaction to their OWN "customers" in ADDITION to regular ATM fees. Bad business model.

See photo; no need to go into the personal attitude displayed when I questioned why their "free" checking isn't really free.

I attempted to get a loan through the credit union and was told by the loan consultant that if I got them a loan estimate that they would match the rate. I got them a loan estimate from my bank and when the loan consultant got my final loan estimate paperwork from the bank with the lower interest rate she stated to me that she could not match it and stated to give me a run around. After asking to speak with her supervisor she refused to give me his number, but I was able to get it through calling the main company he started to treat me like I was a liar even tho my credit rating is around 770+ and my wife's is around 790+. He stated that the loan consultant didn't tell me she would match the interest rate and that he could listen to the phone conversation we had. I advised to listen to the conservation and after listening to it he got back on the line with me and stated he could see where I thought that she was going to match it because she said she would. This is a very unprofessional business and are obviously liars. The only reason I gave them a 1 star is because I can't give them anything lower.
