Prison Brews first opened its doors on April 7, 2008. We are a unique brewpub located on the historic east side of Jefferson City, two blocks from the old Missouri State Penitentiary. The pub occupies an 1895 brick warehouse that was once a blacksmith, creamery, and an electric company. Recommended for every age group

We visited Prison Brews today for the second time in two weeks but this time we took guests with us. After our first visit we knew we had to let everyone we knew about this cozy, friendly employees and very good eats place.



We had pizza our fist visit and today we tried their reuben sandwich with sweet potato fries, WOW! We can't wait to try something else next time.



We traveled 35 miles one way, not to go shopping but to eat at this establishment because it is that good.



Try it soon, you won't be sorry.
