We have been using Wayside for well over a decade. The care provides by the staff for our four-legged family members has been outstanding beginning with Dr. McGee through the current staff of Dr. Lewis. The staff is very through during exams and those minor issues that arrises. Questions are always welcomed and answered completely. Care plans are well developed and flexible,. The staff has always treated out pets with respect and love. Both are alwasy asked about by name when the other is not present. Most importantly, when there is an emergency a phone call to the office and our pets were seen the same day. Dr. Lewis and Parker are firm believers in making themselves available at any time for putting worries to rest. Thank you to the staff of Wayside Animal Clinic for providing our family with the best care for our family. In our eyes your clinic is world-class.

When my oldest dog, Mandy (age 12) died of cancer. The staff was so very concerned and sympathetic. We brought Mandy home from the vet on Saturday and she passed away on Sunday. The Monday after Mandy died one of the vets called to see how she was doing and when I told her that Mandy had died the vet cried with me. I even received a sympathy card from them. Then when I took Shadow in a few months later they were still sympathetic about my loss. They have been the best vet that I have ever used and will not go anywhere else. The staff and vets are very pleasant and concerned about the animals that come in. Thanks for being there!

Wayside staff became disrespectful after I criticized their lack of professionalism for not having a smooth process & simple check-in procedure since they could not find my dog's medical file. During that process, I was told "not to get hyper" - - as an active duty Air Force officer, I know how to communicate... that was their way of saying they did not like being constructively criticized and simply questioned on their procedures. I only needed a booster (shot) and was asked after that, "a booster for what" - - I then replied, "well, a booster is a follow up shot to a previous/recent vaccination (that was given here)... with my file, you should tell me!" I was then spoken to disrespectfully by the staff and was then denied medical service for my pet. I then demanded a copy of my file to go somewhere else. In the process, they said "yeah, why don't you go somewhere else.."They lack business professionalism; displayed conduct unbecoming of medical staff; unable to do simple tasks, etc

I had to take the dogs to another vet to get rechecked for heartworms so I could the prescription refilled on-line after they were checked at Wayside less than 6 months ago. They dogs have been taking heartworm pills since they were puppies. Wayside wanted me to buy the heartworm meds from them. I will never take my dogs there again.
