A couple of summers ago Steve had to do some extensive work on the embankment at our lake home. Erosion occurred overnight during a torrential rainstorm and took out a retaining wall as well as earth. We were completely happy with the repair work Steve did but he cautioned us to keep a close eye on it and call him immediately if we noticed anything happening. He said the work was absolutely guaranteed. This summer we did have some more erosion in that area after a torrential rain. Steve and his crew have repaired it at no cost, no fuss just like he said they would. We are slowly getting some vegetation growth going on this rocky area and hoping for no future problems. John

Torrential rain and flooding this summer caused part of the embankment on our lake lot to collapse into Smith Lake. An old existing retaining wall also started to move which further compromised the stability of this residence. After talking with several people in the construction business, every one of them agreed that Steve Early would be the only one in this area who would have the resources and expertise to take on a project like this. Steve and his crew have work diligently on this project. His workers appear to be knowledgeable and well trained as well. They did indeed have the resources to complete this job in a timely manner. I have worked in the mining industry for 40 years so I did have some concept of what had to be done to secure the hillside and I can see that the work performed is structurally sound. The project is aesthetically pleasing as well and guaranteed for as long as we are the property owners. Had we not be able to get this work performed in such a timely manner, we could have been facing structural or foundation issues with the house itself.
