I stayed here overnight with my parents on a business trip in 94. The upstairs pouch is lovely for a pot of tea. The decor is charming. Quite a respite for this old soldier.

DO NOT GO HERE! WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! OWNER DOES NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF GUEST SERVICE! My bf had a hair in his food and the owner denied it then argued with us saying that it was "part of the potato" and refused to take it off our bill and then threatend to call the cops on us because we refused to pay for something we didn't eat. My boyfiend confronted him about the lack of business and said that it must be due to his lack of service skills he then boasted that he had been in business for 30 years and knew what he was doiing. I have been in the restaurant business for only 12 years and would NEVER be so disrespect ful to a guest. After much arguing he finally agreed to take it off our bill if I promised never to bring "HIM" again! I will NEVER COME HERE AGAIN OR LET ANYONE I KNOW COME HERE. THIS MAN IS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO ANYONE WHO WORKS I THE HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY! he restaurant only had 2 other guests and they were regulars who also had a problem with their meal and he argued with THEM as well. They will also never be back and said they had been going there for years. I WOULD'VE GIVEN ZERO STARS BUT THE WOULDN'T LET ME!

Great food, great staff. Can't wait to return.
