Founded in 1988, HabiJax Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville is a volunteer-driven organization that delivers various community-based social services. It accepts in-kind donations for the development of materials, printing, professional development activities, homeowner education programs, special event needs and administrative functions. The agency has built more than 200,000 houses worldwide and provides over 1,000,000 people in more than 3,000 communities with safe, decent, affordable shelter and housing. It offers awareness, educational outreach and develops avenues of growth for the organization. It also organizes annual fundraising events that are aimed at young and emerging community leaders and individuals.
