I cannot recommend Karen highly enough. From the very first conversation we had on the phone, all the way to months after she offered to replace one of the photo DVDs that my mother lost (!), she has been nothing but professional, easy to work with, detail-oriented, responsive, and just all-around lovely. We spoke with cheaper photographers, but we are so glad that we ultimately went with someone who so clearly knows what she is doing. I will always treasure our getting-ready photos and our first-look photos--some of the shots she set us up for felt a little silly at first, but you have to trust this woman's eye... she knows what photographs well, and how to catch people at their best and most beautiful. If my mind hadn't already been made up about how much I adore Karen, the deal was sealed when she expertly worked with my developmentally delayed sister (who has a hard time smiling on command) during the posed family photos. Just when I was ready to strangle the family members who were yelling at my sister to smile, Karen took over and somehow simultaneously shut all of them up (in a very nice way) and got my sister beaming. She just gets it. If you are hesitating about spending the $$$, I understand... but you will not regret going with Karen. She's worth every penny, and more.

Karen is really amazing I found her through a friend from work and a recommendation from another vendor for my wedding, and I could not be happier with my photography. My husband and I both live out of state, it was difficult for us to meet and interview photographers in person. So, I asked my friends and vendors for recommendations. Then got it down to my favorite four. My parents who have great taste actually interviewed the photographers in person and they thought Karen’s domineer and professionalism excelled others and they were very impressed with her. If you want Karen to photograph your wedding be sure to book her asap, she is in very high demand, especially during the peak wedding season.

Karen did a great job in balancing the time she spent taking the set up type of photos along with the journalistic ones; we were thrilled with all of them. The photos show our emotions and happiness on the day. Karen asked us a lot of questions before our wedding as to what we wanted and she really listened and delivered. So, if you have specific pictures you want or ideas on what you would like be sure to discuss them with Karen. I have a lot of college and high school friends that I wanted a variety of different combinations of shots and she was able to get every single one. She was very positive, up and happy on our wedding day.

I’m not the most photogenic person, but OMG she made me look absolutely beautiful! After a few minutes with karen I knew our pictures were going to be great, she put me at ease and made having our pictures really fun. We have received many, many complements on our wedding and engagement albums. Our pictures came out better than we ever expected and I could not be happier, something only a talented artist could do.

Karen captured the true emotion and feel of our wedding. The photographs are so incredible, and we are so happy with them. Our family and friends have also given them rave reviews and the two bridesmaids that are engaged have decided to hire Karen to photograph their own weddings. I’ve recommended Karen to everyone that I know who is getting married. Karen never missed a single moment; she seemed to somehow capture things that I did not even see. We had a wonderful experience with Karen and Chinh, they were always on top of things and consistently impressed. My husband does not like to be photographed, and Karen made him feel so at ease that now he says he likes having his photo taken but only by Karen. We highly recommend Karen, she’s a true professional and an incredible photographer.

Karen did an outrageous job capturing all the wonderful moments at our wedding! A friend referred us to Karen who had used her for her own wedding and she was also very happy with her pictures. Karen and her team were extremely organized and made sure to get all of our special requests, not a single family member was left out. She was a great listener and gave us exactly what we were looking for. I love the portraits and candid’s she captured of my husband and myself. Also, we used the images from our engagement session as a slideshow that was shown at our wedding reception and they got of our guests in tears, they were so touching and showed how much my husband and I are in love. We are so happy that Karen photographed our wedding.

My co-worker used Karen for her wedding and recommended her highly to us and I feel it was one of the best decisions we did for our wedding. You may think I’m crazy for giving perfect scores, but she really deserves it. If I could give more than five stars I would. ☺

Besides being a very talented photographer we found her to be very professional and make us feel like family. Karen was very responsive even prior to the wedding. We had several conversations as to the timeline, which people to photograph, family dynamics and special requests. Our websites were ready within a few weeks from our engagement session and wedding, which compared to my friends who used other photographers is about half the turn around time. She was also very generous with her time on our wedding day. She arrived early and stayed later than the original plan and did not charge us overtime.

Hair and makeup ran late that day so I was really stressed out! Karen was wonderful, she remained calm and cool, reassuring me we could get all the photos we needed and I did not need to stress. Once we started on pictures I became much calmer and became less stressed, having a fun time with my bridesmaids and family doing the pictures with Karen. Somehow she was able to get everything that was planned, working quickly and efficiently and we still started the ceremony and reception on time.

Our church has very strict guidelines for photographers- they have to stay behind the last guest during the ceremony and no flash. I was really worried about this, but once again Karen being an amazing photographer that she is got great shots. One would never know she was more than two hundred feet from us during the ceremony. The photos look like she’s twenty feet away.

Karen was very professional, reliable, calm and kind but what I like best of all (there are a lot of bests) are the beautiful images I received from her of my wedding day. She captured all the love, excitement and joy of our day and our pictures are absolutely beautiful!

Karen was absolutely wonderful to work with, and I love my wedding pictures! Karen and her fantastic second photographer caught all the moments we shared in the most beautiful way. Both my husband and myself felt she worked really had that day to give us beautiful portraits and great candids. From our first appointment meeting with Karen we felt she really understood what we wanted, she’s a great listener besides being a very talented artists. This was the best choice I made for our wedding. We knew Karen was great, but she exceeded all of our expectations.

I am so happy that I choose Karen to photography my wedding! She is the ultimate professional. We found her to be very kind and friendly, and most of all a very talented artist. She did an engagement session and our wedding pictures. We had our engagement album out at the wedding and received dozens of complements form our guests on the book. Our website with our wedding pictures has received so many complements from our family and guests that I’ve stopped counting. We choose Karen because we loved her photojournalistic style, but she also got absolutely stunning portraits of my husband and myself that day. She’s has a real passion for what she does and I highly recommend her.
