VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! My regular dermatologist Parvin Shafa was closed today, and i had to get a cyst drained (Have to leave tomorrow to europe for 2 month) so i decided to try someone else. Found all these good reviews on google and called this doctor. The visit was $100. He saw me for 10 min and told me that he chages $400-$450 to get a cyst drained! I was in shock! BUT since i was a cash patient he said he can do it for $250. I was still in shock! Dr. Parvin (who is located about 5 min away from this guy) chages $135 for this procedure. I also had the same thing done in Costa Mesa for $125. When i told him that it was too much, he started going on and on (with a straight face) how he spent a million dollars getting through the med school, so he has to charge people a lot! What a joke, it does NOT cost 1,000,000 dollars to become a deramtologist. I told him that i was willing to pay $150-170 for it. He just laughed at me and said -"You are just not worth my time!" his exact words! This came from a DOCTOR who took an oath to help people... VERY VERY Disappointed! He is not there to be a "doctor", he is there to profit from your pain! If you arent rich or if you care about being ripped off and told that you are not worth their time with your $150 bucks, DO NOT GO THERE! I understad he has to make money, But lets be reasonable! $150 for 5 minutes of his skills is reasonable, not 250 or $450! He basically trys to chage $80 per minute if you have insurance or $30 per minute if you pay cash... WOW!



P.S. The cyst draining takes less than 5 minutes. Had it done 4 times with doctor Shafa (she is in irvine as well) and only one of them came back.. Went back to doctor Shafa and she drained it for FREE since it was a reacuring problem. This "Doc" told me if a cyst was to come back, it would be another full charge, no discounts!

I went to see Dr. Sexton for Botox injections. This was my first time getting Botox and Dr. Sexton made me completely at ease. The day of my appointment my babysitter canceled and I had to bring my two year old son with me. Dr. Sexton and his stafff were very understanding and accomodating. I really appreciate this. The Botox looks great. I didn't have and marks or bruising from the needle. It looks natural and not overdone like some women I hve seen. I highly recomend this doctor!
