I like to support local business. When I first took my dog to Dog Tag Vanessa was very friendly, and provided a lot of useful advice. Once I got my dog home, I noticed that he was cut totally crooked. It literally looked like God had put his ears on sideways!



When I called back in six weeks to schedule another cut, Vanessa was less than friendly. I know we all have bad days, so I brushed it off. When I dropped my dog off, it seems as though she was having another bad day! She is very timely in grooming. within two hours, I received the call that my dog was ready to be picked up. When I went to pay they charged me $10 more than last time. I asked why it was $10 more than what it was 6 week ago. The "helper" told me that Vanessa wasn't there and she didn't know why. I asked to have Vanessa call me to explain. In looking at my dog, not only is his hair above his eyes longer on the right, but his beard is longer on the left! He is totally uneven!!! I didn't think a common puppy cut would be so difficult! And I paid $10 more for this??? Not to mention that my dog had eye buggers all stuck in his fur! He didn't smell clean at all!



I would suggest you stay far away from Dog Tag, unless you want your dog to look like a three year old cut it and charged you extra for it!

My dog just spent a week there while my family and I were on vacation. The dogs there get to play all day in their arena with other dogs.

Let me just tell you, the only thing I was disappointed about was that my dog wasn't even happy to see me when I picked her up! And on top of that, they offer grooming right before you pick up your dog and she had THE BEST HAIRCUT OF HER LIFE! And she's 6!

All the staff is very knowledgeable and they really make you feel comfortable leaving your puppy there. Needless to say I will not be returning to my groomer of 2 years or my previous boarding facility. Go Dog Tag! Bella loves you!!



Oh yeah, I live in Mt. Prospect but its well worth the drive!

If I could give this place more stars I WOULD! The groomer was SO professional and my dogs look great. I have used so many different groomers in the past and they hacked up my dogs. Dog Tag gave me fluffy dogs with perfect and even cuts. She treated my dogs like her own and they loved it. I cannot express how much I LOVE the outcome. I'm so HAPPY!
