Ross went above and beyond to get my truck running great. He kept me informed through the job, always returned my calls when I had questions and made sure I was happy when it was done. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have used Ross’ Diesel and Auto Repair several times over the past 8 months. I purchased a diesel pickup last fall and had Ross and Brian fix a fuel leak and replace some bad injectors to get the truck back into good running order.

Unfortunately, due to apparent neglect by a previous owner, earlier this spring a piston ring broke in one of the cylinders and the engine was trashed. Not only did Ross and Brian quickly diagnose the problem and provide me with a number of options, they helped me to understand the impact of each option on both the truck and my pocketbook.

Because so many are out there to “just make a buck”, it’s hard to trust mechanics these days. I can say that my experience with Ross’ Diesel and Auto Repair was the exact opposite. Ross strives to be straight forward with his estimates, hates to bring the customer bad news, and works far beyond the wrench turning aspects of the job to make sure he sends the customer out the door with a satisfied experience. I ended up having Ross and Brian replace my entire engine with a new unit. I have nearly 1,000 miles on it since then and it is working well.

Ross runs his shop with an attention to Quality and Service that is hard to find these days. If you need work done on your diesel truck (by the way they work on all kinds of vehicles), I highly recommend Ross’ Diesel and Auto Repair.

Ross & Rocky are the best mechanics in Idaho. I walked in as a single woman and they were awesome with explaining things to me honestly and respectfly.They were great about solving my auto problem with efficiency and economy. Thier work is top notch!

Hello, I am a fleet manager for a adventure company with operations through out the west. Recently a bus broke down in Jackson Hole Park.It was towed to a shop in Jackson. They said it had a blown engine and a install would be over twenty thousand. That's when I found Ross Diesel. When I called for the first time and talked with Ross he listened to my problem answered all my questions and help arrange a tow.They were quick to discover the engine was OK. After completing needed repair the bill was a fraction of what we would of payed. I would rate this shop a A+, Ross has earned my trust and our business. I own a 2001 Dodge Cummings diesel with 28000 original miles on it. I have experienced a lack of power when climbing hills with my cab over camper on it. This has been a problem since the day I purchased it new. After spending several years and thousands of dollars with the dealership I decided to take it to Ross's Diesel. Ross discovered an air loss problem with the turbo. After a minor fix the problem was solved. Thanks to Ross I now have the truck I thought I had bought and Ross has a loyal customer.

Had trouble with my Dodge Cummin's motor while on vacation. Ross took the time to trouble shoot my problem and the work someone else completed. He gave me a loaner part and came in on a Sunday (day off) to replace the loaner with a new part. He just didn't want to interrupt my vacation! Great Service and a very NICE guy. Thanks!! George

I've had many poor dealings with dealerships and other mechanics when it came to my vehicles. It is not easy to let anyone work on my rig, especially when I worry about what they will do to it. I scheduled with Ross in advanced as I would be in town, for only a small amount of time and needed some general maintenance done on my Jeep. When I dropped the Jeep off, I also had another recent frustrating problem that I was reluctant to fix myself. We went over what I wanted to be done, and he was good to bring up something in the list of maintenance that I wanted to get done, but had forgotten about. After looking over my vehicle, he called me up with a quote and information on what he thought needed to be done and exactly how it was to be done. This gives someone, who is used to being lied to or handled, some comfort and a level of trust. By the end of the day, they had everything done and boy did my Jeep need it. They had even fixed that frustrating problem that would have probably led to a frustrating severe problem if I had dealt with it. Ross seemed straight, up front, and honest with me. Everyone there really knew their vehicles, and subsequent trends, too. My Jeep has ran great since then, and I have comfort in the condition it is in now. They really saved my tail on that other problem too. With that fixed, I had an extra day to enjoy rest, instead of under the Jeep. Ross' Diesel and Auto Repair gives you confidence and trust, and they take care of vehicle. Both are becoming harder and harder to come by. I have no problems recommending them to others.

Ross's Diesel and Auto repair is the place to take your autos for repair. Ross was able to diagnose and fix my 06 Duramax turbo problem that had been haunting me for several months. From the minute I talked to him I felt like he knew what to do. My repair was done professionally and timely. The charge for the work performed was more than fair. My pickup is now running the way it should be. I don't mind spending money on a quality service.
