Prices I can afford and a great location. It's my most preferred place to stop. That said, today, May 11, 2013, I had to spend my $25.08 at Stop & Shop due to the crowd of solicitors on both sides of the front entrance of your Hyde Park, NY store. Due to my economic situation, I will not shop at the overpriced Rite Aid across the street either. I'm being squeezed so tightly, giving to charities is no longer an option. If you had a sign that said the cashier was going to ask me for an extra dollar for this or that cause, I would choose to shop elsewhere. I'm sure today's crowd represented a very worthy charity or survey but you need to know this practice is affecting the bottom line. I will return to Stewart's Shop when this policy of allowing solicitation has come to an end.
