Kenmoor Middle School provides classes to students in grades seven and eight. The school is governed by Prince George's County Public Schools, one of the largest school systems in the state of Maryland with an enrollment of more than 130,000 students. Kenmoor Middle School operates various educational departments, such as mathematics, social studies, language arts, science, foreign languages, special education, creative arts and physical education. It also has an academic support department that consists of a media specialist, speech therapist, parent liaison, technology coordinator, special education instructor and pupil personnel worker. Located in Landover, Md., Kenmoor Middle School organizes the English for Speakers of Other Languages program that provides appropriate and effective English language instruction and facilitates cultural awareness for English language learners.
