Hyattsville Middle School is an educational institute providing students with the educational foundation necessary for meeting the higher education and career demands. Based in Hyattsville, Md., the school is a part of Prince George's Public County Schools and conducts sports activities for the students and must undergo a physical exam test. Sports activities include softball, baseball, basketball and soccer for both boys and girls. It has a creative and performing arts department that helps students nurture interest in band, chorus, writing, dance, media arts, orchestra, theater lab and visual arts. Additionally, Hyattsville Middle School has a counseling office for students as individual counseling, small group, crisis counseling, advocacy, peer meditation and Individual Learning Plan (ILP).
