I became a tenant at Hyannis Sun Storage back in August of 2005. I had lost my husband and was downsizing my home. It was a very difficult time in my life. So many changes a new home, the move, I had so many questions like where will I put my items that would not be going to my new home? I found Hyannis Self Storage... Bob and Elinor were the managers. They took me on a tour of their facility and explained what size unit would work best for me. They referred me to a moving company and help me through the process. I have been with them ever since. each month when I go in to pay me bill I greeted by name by both Bob & El they always take the time to ask me how I am doing. I really appreciate the warm friendly personal customer service that they provide. I know that my items are safe and secure because they do a great job of watching over every one of their tenants.

To anyone reading this review I would strongly recommend this company for your needs.

Have been a customer for almost 2 years now, recently went into my unit to find out that all of my things have been ruined. infested with either rats or mice and there is nothing they would do. they will not replace any of my things, reimburse me for anything, nothing. When I mentioned if they are going to mention the infestation to any of the other customers, the manager who i was speaking to, tells me "thats none of your business, worry about your own unit". I can say I have missed payments and been behind, but I always catch up. This place has made so much money off of me just off of late fees in the past 2 years and i have never complained once because i knew it was no ones fault but my own. but as soon as I mention that my things are ruined, there is nothing they will do. I have dealt with rude ownership and management for almost two years now, but continued to pay because i trusted my things were in good hands, but apparently not. Will be speaking with a lawyer about the matter.

RODENT INFESTED AND LEAKING ROOF!!!!

Everything I stored at HYANNIS SUN SELF STORAGE is ruined. I spent thousands to have have to have everything ruined. My belonging would have been better on the side of the road. Management, Elinor wouldn't return my initial emails or phone calls. When I eventually did get her on the phone she was rude and accusatory and not only did she say it wasn't their problem she wouldn't even talk to me about fixing the problems. SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!! I called back so I could ask to speak to someone else she said " No. I'm the manager and that's all you need to know." I had to call a diffent store to get my concerns sent to their corporate office. Even then, Kevin at the Mashpee office kept arguing with me about how I had no legal rights. I tried to explain to him that it was beside the point, I was trying to get the current ongoing issues dealt with seeing that I still had belongings in the storage unit and was obligated to pay rent until I could return and retrieve the rest of my urine soaked things. He couldn't grasp that and kept rambling on about how uhaul customers didn't get compensation during Katrina, then he told me I was interrupting him. At least he offered to forward my email to this elusive "corporate."

My advice AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE BECAUSE YOU JUST MAY GET THE PLAGUE IF YOU STORE HERE!!!!

AVOID ..The manager Elinor is miserable to deal with...She is completely indifferent to the customers and I am presently suing them in court for unlawful liquidation of my property...you have been warned...worst business relationship of my entire life
