They we're hugely unhelpful. I feel sorry for all of the animals that could have been adopted but couldn't do to the horrible staff. I've decided to use another shelter

I called 5 to 6 times,trying 2 get help 4 a dog up the road my dad lives on.The owner of the dog left it tied up an starving 2 death.i tried 2 help it as i could.U said a week ago u would come an get it. I'm sad 2 report the poor boy is almost gone. so i ask do u just lie 2 people 2 get them off the phone? An something thing should have been done about the owner of that poor boy.So thanks 4 nothing!!!!!!!

Is there a limit to the number of dogs one can have in a residential area. My neighbor has at least 15 dogs in that house and it stinks to high heaven. Thank you for your help.

this place has been closed down do to distemper....

This place is USELESS. There have been 3 stray dogs on my road who chase cars and it's very dangerous. They are there every morning and have almost ran me and a few neighbors I've talked to into the ditch. I've called "animal control" literally 12 times over the past 4 months trying to get something done with these dogs because they are a nusence and are going to get somebody killed - especially when they go down onto Rt. 75 and chase cars. I have even tried to take the dogs in myself but one of them is vicious; growling and barking at me, showing his teeth and had his heckles up. Needless to say you can't even take a walk if you wanted to for fear of being attacked..... If you have an animal problem, don't bother calling Animal Control because they're obviously TOO LAZY TO DO THEIR JOB.

It is not that this shelter is bad, it is just horribly under-funded and does not have enough officers to go out on the calls.
