Great experience. John is a very chill guy. No problems. Straight forward with the situation. Not a place where you need to worry about getting screwed over. Had a great time meeting one of the technicians and kindly explains to me what has been going on. I had a really loud whine when driving. Now I am so happy it is gone! He also recommended me a few things that weren't things where he can make money off of it was more beneficial for me so I can keep beating my car when I want. Will be returning soon to upgrade some more stuff. I own a 2011 Shelby gt500 and it was no big deal for them. HAndled my concerns with no issues. Definitely recommend anyone with differential issues to meet John and his service center.

I have taken 2 BMW differentials to J&S Gear. They have built them perfectly and at a very fair price. I will continue to send all my customer differentials to J&S Gear.

Race Track proven performance. The first diff I had rebuilt I drove 2 hours to the track the very next day and ran 4 30 minute sessions at Willow Springs Raceway, and have put about 10K street miles on it since. No issues.

J&S Gear knows their business and are very good at what they do providing outstanding workmanship and knowledge.

Over the top service

I pulled up my F250 4x4 in the pouring rain and told John, the owner, that I was hearing grinding when I made left turns. I had already done the prefunctory shadetree mechanic checks and had found nothing. John took me out for a test drive. He couldn't tell what was causing the grinding, but noticed the ball joints were out of whack. I left the truck to be fixed. When I came back to pick the truck up here the story I heard. "Your ball joints were some of the worst I've seen that were steal on the truck. They were ready to fail. The grinding noise was caused by a broken exhaust mount. When turning left the exhaust would move slightly and rub the frame. We found it by driving in left hand circles while I was laying on the side running board. Don't worry, I only fell off once during testing." Now that's great service! I'll be back for other work. Price was fair and resonable. Highly recommend them.
