There were 8 of us that stopped in Saturday evening to have dinner and some beers and drinks.
The hostess was good awful and nasty to us. She was not one bit polite and we never did find out her name and I did ask.
After 20 minutes of standing there and even offering to put two tables together ourselves and she just said "NO" without any nicety about it. We had seen a table that had been cleaned and reset and not being used and there was no other big group or other party behind us.
We had been in there on Friday and had a completely different experience.
We were all down there for a Dog Show that was next door so NONE of us were from around there at all and were camping at Total Recall and because of the rain couldn't grill out like we had all planned.
We ended up calling a different place to get food to go and had no problem with them and they were polite all the way around.
So to say the least you have a bunch of us that when we come down there for shows will never eat there after that awful treatment.

We decided to try out their broasted chicken. Neither of us have been there for a meal before. There was a lot of food for the money. But Yuk! We both felt as though we drank a bottle of cooking oil and we each had a stomach ache for the rest of the day. Therefore, we decided to throw away the leftovers. Service was slow, too. We were there for almost 2 hours just to have a lunch and there were only 6 other people ordering food at the time. If I ever go there again, it will be for the purpose of having a beer instead of a meal.

decided to bring the kids and give it a try. GREAT food, reasonable prices, comfortable atmosphere. WILL be recommending this place to others.

The B lacksmith Bar and Grill near Hugo, is small and not too cozy, but has great atmosphere. Little town experience, near the city. Great food and specials every day of the week. Prices are great, big servings, and they have all you can eat specials some days.

I love Thursday's it's Chicken night for me.

Generous portions of good food. Prices are good.
