I, had Asphalt Maintenance come out and put down my new asphalt driveway in May 2008 they also did both of my neighbors driveways. After just a month our driveways are falling apart and the asphalt is turning to gravel and if someone turns around on the edge it breaks off in large chuncks the size of a basketball. We have already had to repair our driveways with cold patch. I've tried contacting, Vince the owner and he tells me he will be out to fix them but it's been 3 weeks and I haven't seen or heard from him. The asphalt was to be 1 1/2 inches thick but in some places its only 1/4 inch thick and was to have limerock put down for a base in some places it over sand which means it falls apart. My young cows walked across the asphalt and it left hoof print in the asphalt and a hole, which shouldn't have happened. At the rate the asphalt it falling apart I won't have a driveway within a year. I do not recommend him to do your driveway as I found out the hard way, his work isn't guaranteed like he promised. Stay far away from this contractor.
