Located in Houston, Welch Middle School is a part of the Houston Independent School District. The school serves more than 1,300 students in grades six through eight. It offers Title 1 and English as a Second Language programs. It provides special education to gifted and talented students. Welch Middle School also conducts Spanish language classes. The school s general academic curriculum includes reading, writing, math, science and social science. It supports a range of sports activities that includes golf, tennis and volleyball.
