For some reason, and I can't quite articulate this, I liked it that you answered your own phone, and then that you pulled over out of traffic and took down all the information.

We were in the process of buying our first home and was referred to Tom Martin at Tex-Star Home Inspections. We met Tom onsite to complete the inspections and at the time we thought he did a good job. After we moved in, we had a local pest control company come out and they discovered that we had termites. We were stunned by this info because Tom said he completed a termite inspection and the property was clear and free of termites. After contacting Tom to update him - He refused to honor his 200% guarantee that he has posted on his website and eventually stopped returning calls and emails. H told us that he spoke with a friend and was told that he was not liable for this huge error of his. Steer far far away from this person and his company.
