Founded in 1987, Bell Geospace develops and sells high-resolution gravity gradient solutions to the mining, oil, gas and government sectors using its three-dimensional full tensor gradiometer system, known as 3-D FTG. The company s products include Air-FTG, Marine FTG and 3-D FTG. Air-FTG is an airborne gravity gradiometer capable of measuring all components of the gradient tensor, providing a more precise definition of geological features. Marine-FTGTM is particularly powerful for offshore oil and gas exploration areas that traditionally have poor seismic quality. The 3-D FTG system accurately measures extremely small changes in subsurface densities in all directions at prospect level resolution.
