After bad experiences with larger chain pharmacies, I decided to try this cute little pharmacy I'd seen in downtown Houma. I called and spoke to a human being on the second ring instead of waiting 30 minutes listening to automated ads. The staff was so friendly and helpful; they even called my doctor and pharmacy to quickly transfer my medicine and I had it within 2 hours, whereas I had been without it several days due to clerical or other errors at Walgreens. Beyond the caring staff, the inside of People's is quaint and adorable with local art, easy to find product placement, and lots of old fashioned candy and snacks. Their website is modern and user-friendly and they even offer some specialty services and community support. Thank you for being fantastic, People's; you made my day.
