Provided by YP.comDon't go! I took my performance Camaro in for a simple state inspection - to start, it took the guy almost 5 minutes to get it up on the ramps. As he attempted to pull it up on the ramps, he stops halfway. The car sits there idling, and several other guys head that way. After a few minutes, car is pulled the rest of the way on the ramps. THEN the service manager comes into the waiting area and asks me if I knew I had a disconnected oxygen sensor. I said no, and went to take a look. The wires to my WIDEBAND O2 sensor (not a regular sensor) were pulled clean out of the harness. The ends of the wire were CLEAN - beyond that, dirty as one would expect the underside of a car to be. Meaning of course that the wires were JUST pulled out. Since this is a performance car, I have a 3-pod gauge just off my left eye, one of them is the O2 gauge. It sweeps constantly as I apply throttle, showing different colors. Very hard to miss when it STOPS WORKING. I told the service manager that if that gauge was not working when it came off the rack, that the issue happened there. I would know immediately if that gauge was not working - it's purpose is to save my motor when I lay into it! As always, when driving, I visually verified that it was working on the drive in (I do this EVERY TIME I drive the car). Even though I pointed out all of these very logical statements, he refused to accept responsibility - stating that it was that way when I arrived. If this was a normal O2 sensor, I would have to agree - there is no way I would know if it was operational or not. However, with a brightly-lit gauge constantly sweeping off your left peripheral, there is no way to miss it. He clearly did not understand how such a sensor works, assuming it was a regular O2 sensor. No amount of explanation could sink it through. Now, the gauge just reads one constant number - 14.7, as would be expected. VERY dissatisfied with the level of customer service - not at all what I expected in a small town. Now, I have to order a new harness and re-route it, all the way from the gauge in the cabin, back to the exhaust. At my own cost and time, when it was clearly their fault. The service manager was given two opportunities to make this right - he was not at all interested - therefore I am leaving this review.
