This store has great selection, lot's of knowledge on flooring.
I have been shopping there for twenty years and have always had professional work done by them.

This store doesn't price their samples on the floor. So, instead of being able to look at the price of a sample on the floor and know if it is in your budget, you need to wait for someone to calculate your quote for EVERY single sample.They do not give you narrowed down choices in your budget. I was left to aimlessly wander the store often while other customers were being helped.I was waiting 10-15 minutes at times to have someone helping me again. I was quoted $21.99 a yard on a sample I chose in the store. The estimated quote I was given was around $1150.The paper quote I left with said it was $25.99. After an employee came out and measured I was told the carpet was $24.99 a yard and that my grand total was over $1400! When I asked why it was so much higher I was told it was because the pattern in the carpet was not accounted for in my initial quote. EVERY other carpet store I had initial quotes from accounted for that! They are also horrible at returning calls in a prompt manner.

I worked with Carpet City installing carpet throughout my in-laws house to get it ready to sell. The pricing was great, the turnaround was really fast, and the installers were clean, professional, careful and delightful to work with. It's a family company with a focus on value. They really know carpets and I like Lori's unpretentious, helpful attitude. She really helped me pick out the right product for the project. I was really surprised at all the flooring options they have, too, from wood and vinyl to some really cool new options to solid wood!

I had an old runner taken out and a new one installed from this company. There were gouge marks bookending the runner on every single stair and it was obvious they were new and weren't there before. And also there were 2 and 3" long scratches BEHIND the runner on a few of the stairs with fresh splinters that couldn't have gotten there without the runner being removed. It didn't take a forensic scientist to figure out they had done the damage which they completely denied doing anything at all.I got total passive-aggressive attitude from the sales person saying they couldn't have done it when she never even saw in person. I tried emailing pictures and after no response I actually had to call them on the phone. She said she got the pictures but never bothered to respond by email or call with any concern. She said they "just didn't do it" and made me feel like a total idiot for even suggesting that they did anything at all.I never asked for any repairs from them, I asked only for the
