If price is your only concern, this is your place. However, if service and communication matter, go somewhere else!



First, we were working with a contractor, Affordable Granite says they give preference to contractors because of the opportunity for repeat business (makes sense!). They told us it could be up to 8 weeks between setting up our measure and getting it installed, but since we were working with a contractor that wasn't likely.



We set up our measure for the first open date, and they wouldn't let us set up install at the same time. When you're ready to have them measure, you're ready for install, so making us wait was dumb. The measure crew was great, very professional, they told us we should be getting the official quote later that day or the next day at the latest. Guess when we got it? 4 days later! Each day we waited is another day we have no kitchen! Upon signing the paperwork I received no confirmation from our sales rep, no follow up to schedule install, nothing! We couldn't get a hold of him for another 4 days, so now it's 8 wasted days! After everything, they told us it would be another 3-4 weeks before they could install, putting us right at the 8 week mark, so that stuff about contractors went out the window!



To be fair, this was our sales rep Bob who screwed it up. Things felt off from the moment he started helping us, but we never expected this.



Eventually I was able to move the install date up after talking to a supervisor who didn't seem surprised at our predicament. They gave us a 1 hour window for when they would be there to install, but ended up being an hour late for that too. They didn't call us until after the window to tell us they would be another 40 minutes before they would arrive.



This all boils down to awful communication, from our sales rep to the installers, they just assume nobody is in a hurry for new kitchen counter tops I guess. If I could do it all over again I'd pay a little more to use a different company, and our contractor will never use them again, the only reason he did in the first place was our budget.

We had a very pleasant experience with this company.

Jesse is such a profound expert who can explain everything so nicely. The workers, Ryan and Bob, did a great job much faster than we expected.

I wish we had more businesses like this one in this country!

I purchased my kitchen & bathroom countertops along with a bathroom vanitiy in March of 2011. Since my purchcase, I have yet to hear from the company for any followups. I have had some major concerns regarding not receiving my granite guarantee and paying for services that I did not receive. I have sent numerous e-mails to company representative and the owner, 3 letters to the owner , and have left numerous voice messages to the owner and have heard no response from anyone. To this day , I still have not heard back from anyone. During the whole process I also had a very difficult time getting anyone to return e-mail and voice messages. It is if they took my money and ran with no regards to customer satisfaction. If this is the kind of service that you want after spending alot of your hard earned money , then I would recommend this company. If you want to be treated like they actually care about you as a customer, then I would advise that you give some other company your business. Please note that I am not a complaining type of person so writing something like this is difficult for me to do!

I wanted to give my wife a granite counter top as a surprise. When I talked to Jane she was excited about doing it. She worked with my daughter and me to schedule the measure and installation to keep it secret. Jesse,what a nice person,apologized for the bright yellow truck.He thought the neighbors might notice.Jesse also explained the measure and fabrication process.Bob and Ryan parked in the street and called to see "is the coast clear".They installed the top,went back cut the back splash,installed the sink,and sealed the top in less than two hours.They wanted to be gone before my wife came home.



I think everyone knew about it being a surprise and went the extra to make it happen. I wanted the people to know they made an old man and his wife VERY happy. To top it off there was a spot that didn't shine.When I asked at the open house if I could polish it.You said no someone would come out and do it. The gentlemen just left. They shined it and fixed a small chip.Its perfect. They too were very nice about a mickey mouse complaint.



What a great experence. Sadly I cannot say that about a lot of companies.







Thank you again for the wonderful gift for Carol,especially Jane for the extra work this must have caused. She couldn't have been nicer,or made my surprise better, it was perfect. Owner person you have very good people.

I am so excited to report that my cabinets and countertops turned out AMAZING! Thank you to everyone who helped out over there...the price was right and the quality was definitely what was promised to me. My house now looks like all of the houses I see on TV! Thank you Affordable Granite!
